The Telluride Education Foundation creates partnerships with Telluride schools, local funding agencies and other community organizations
established for educational purposes.

Monthly Grant Criteria

 

TRIPS

Teacher present at activity

Teacher is applicant

School approval

Will fund: entrance and guide fees, lodging, transportation

Will NOT fund: food

Amount:  up to $15/student for domestic; up to $50/student for international

Considerations:  quality of education experiences; $ or % paid by student and/or school

 

SPECIALISTS

Teacher present at activity

Teacher is applicant

School approval

On school property

Will fund:  salary and fees

Will not fund:  lodging, food, travel

Amount:  up to $15/student; up to $50/teacher for teacher development

 

CONFERENCES

Teacher present at activity

Teacher is applicant

School approval

Will fund: conference fees and materials

Will not fund:  lodging, food, travel

Amount:  up to $500/applicant/year

Considerations:  applicants include tenured and non-tenured teachers, aides and support staff.

 

NON-CONSUMABLE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS

Teacher present at activity

Teacher is applicant

School approval

For use at school as school property

Will fund:  materials with greater than one year of use

Will not fund:  consumable materials

Amount:  up to $500/teacher/school year

Considerations:  $ or % paid by student and/or school
